Telling Stories of Unexpected Science

Who are the world’s toughest audience?

Teenagers.

And we were commissioned by National Museums Scotland to create two animations to inspire this most demanding and daunting of audiences to find out more about careers in science.

Working with an illustrator and animator, we created two animations telling the stories of two current exhibits, the ground-breaking prosthetic i-limb and Pringle’s iconic sweater. They are stories of unexpected collaboration and cross-careering expertise told in a fun, quirky motion graphic style. And both stories reveal the role of Scottish innovation and enterprise, something we care about very much.

We’re pleased to say that these animation films have been widely used in educational contexts with a very positive response.  Here’s to the next generation of Scottish ground-breakers!
